Hi, I’m Michael. Currently, I study English literature at Middlebury College in Middlebury, VT. The rest of the time, I reside in a claustrophobic apartment in Hong Kong, China, with my mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, brother, and bookshelf; this pulls us close together, for better or for worse.

Interested in modes of storytelling in and across various forms of media, I have dabbled in fiction writing, comics, film, print journalism, and blogging. Elsewhere on the web, I edit MiddBlog, Middlebury College’s alternative news site, and 21st Century Boy, a blog focused on culture, entertainment, politics, and Asian affairs. I lust for travel. I infamously suffer from delayed sleep phase syndrome. I am a strong believer in free education. I try to remember to be better everyday.
